Smiling he nodded, "Then let's go play good hosts for a little while." Kissing Chris's flushed cheek before walking with him, arm tucked securely around his husband's waist.
Chris:
Chris smiled and made sure their hips were practically connected as they walked to the reception.

He grinned as he nuzzled his nose to the side of Chris's with a smile, "Promise to save me a few dances?"
Chris:
Chris blushed happily and wrapped his arms around Darren's,"Always for you." he smiled, nuzzling back.

Grinning against Chris's lips as they kissed again, "You're my husband now...there's no escaping me." He smirked playfully, winking at Chris as he continued to hold him close even as he finally set him back on his feet.
Chris:
Chris chuckled and as he feet touched back down. "Good, cause I don't wanna escape. Not ever." he whispered so only they could hear. "Come on, I think we owe our guests one hell of a reception to go to."

Smiling Darren caught Chris as he threw himself at him. Wrapping his arms around Chris's waist, lifting him up off of the floor, holding him against his body as he kissed his husband. "I love you, I love you, I love you." Mumbling the words over and over against as he kissed Chris's cheek and lips.
Chris:
Smiling and laughter in pure joy, he returned each kiss, loving to be in the embrace of his husband. Oh God, his husband! Darren was his husband. It brought fresh tears to his eyes as he laughed them away. "I love you to, my husband. My handsome husband God, I love you so much." He brought their lips together again.

Darren smiled squeezing Chris's hands in silent comfort. He knew Chris didn't like being overly public with these things. He chuckled softly at the Harry Potter comment, his eyes growing more and more watery as he listened to him. When it was his turn he gave a soft huff of air trying to remember how he wanted to word everything, he was never very good at speeches, "Christopher Paul Colfer, I remember that first day too, that day when I was so overwhelmed and freaking out about getting my first big break...and then you were there. And it was like you pulled me out of the crazy, that night at dinner you made all the scary things seem better, in that moment you became my life line, my safety spot, my true home." Taking a slow breath as he looked into Chris's eyes, "I was so scared all the time that I'd do something stupid and mess this up...lose my best friend. But then I remembered you are already a part of me. You're my best friend and other half, you have saved me from myself and given me a safe haven. I promise to always protect you, love you, support you, and cheerish you every single day of the rest of our lives. You are my forever, my always, my sun and the stars, my beautiful and incredible Goldilocks. I will love you through the end of time."
Chris:
Chris couldn't help himself but cry more as he listened to Darren's vows. He just couldn't contain his happiness and joy in this moment. Once the officiator pronounced them husband and husband, Chris couldn't help himself. He launched himself at his husband and pressed their lips together. His arms wrapped around Darren's neck as they kissed. Applause erupted from their loved ones as some even threw flower petals into the air.

He kept stroking his thumbs along Chris's knuckles as they listened to the officiator, squeezing his hands every so often. He was so ready to just hold onto Chris, and call him his husband forever, ready to take those last steps together. When the officiator asked Chris for his vows Darren smiled at him encouragingly, mouthing 'love you' with already watery eyes.
Chris:
Taking a breath, Chris glanced out at their audience and blushed, he wasn't so open about bearing his emotions so publicly and he forgot about this when he was going over her vows. "Phew wow, okay." he chuckled nervously but once his eyes locked on Darren's again, all his worries melted away. "Darren Everett Criss. I remember the first day I met you. It was on the set of Glee when Ryan introduced you on your first day and I was freaking out because Harry Freakin' Potter was standing in front of me." This earned a few chuckles from their friends, especially a few of the Starkids present. "I also remember the first time I looked into your eyes and that was it. I was yours." That was it for Chris. The tears started to fall but his smile never faltered. " I am so thankful and grateful to have you in my life Darren. I-If it wasn't for you, I would be here on my wedding day which, I never thought would e-ever happen. You saved me in every way possible and especially from myself. So in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, though I know it will always be better, I am so proud to take my soul mate as my husband today. I love you so much, my Jack." He whispered the last part, tears happily flowing down his cheeks.

Darren stood anxiously by his brother, grinning at his parents in the front row, waving at Hannah beside them. Hearing the music he bounced on the balls of his feet standing up straighter to see Chris. He felt like his breath was kicked out of his chest, just realizing that this was the man he was going to have his forever with. This was it. Chuckling thickly he hugged Chris's father before stepping back into place, reaching out to hold both of his fiance's hands. As soon as he'd threaded their fingers together he felt a sense of calm wash over him. Squeezing Chris's hands he grinned, winking playfully at him, "Hellp gorgeous." Blowing a small kiss at him he listened to the officiator as they started talking.
Chris:
Chris squeezed Darren's hands as their fingers locked together. He couldn't stop smiling, his eyes becoming glossy with tears than had been fighting to get through for hours. As the officiator began, Chris looked at nothing but Darren. He was still shell shocked that this man in front of him was going to be his husband. His one and only for the rest of his life.
